Seniority does not entitle anybody to be rude to a junior. If orders cannot be given in such a manner as can be carried out efficiently and quickly, the fault clearly lies with their giver and not their taker. If person in superior or senior position, be very very careful to keep in mind all the above points, he may become very successful in his dealings with the staff and can elevate his personality and working tactfulness. It is apt to call such an officer a disciplined citizen. Adult education is not a short range or ad hoc programme. It has to be a continuous effort. For desirous persons suitable opportunities for furtherence of knowledge, qualifications and prospects have to be provided. Institutions like “open air universities” have to be established in ever-increasing numbers. These education centres are being equipped to provide, besides general education, recreation, villages as well as instructions in the elements of family life and other niceties of life. This adult education programme started with high hope, must raise the standard of life, otherwise it is bound to be an idle activity. Schools and Colleges are being rapidly opened to please the masses, but these institutions are without building, infrastructure and regular & cometent teaching staff, mainly due to non-availability of funds. As a matter of fact, government often seem to have given little priority to education. They usually appoint teachers on reduced emoluments or on contract, adhoc, temporary and on voluntary basis. Need of the hour is to provide huge funds for primary education to appoint very good and trained teachers, to provide sufficient infrastructure and a provide classroom.
