The structure of the Earth

The Earth is made up of four distinct layers:

1. The inner core (hottest part of the Earth) – ਇਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਬ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਦਰਲਾ ਅੱਤੇ ਸਬ ਤੋਂ ਗਰਮ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ. ਇਹ ਠੋਸ ਹੈ ਅੱਤੇ ਇਹ iron ਤੇ nickel ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ. 5,500°C ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਥੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗਰਮੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ.

2. The outer core – ਇਹੇ inner core ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀ ਪਰਤ ਹੈ . ਇਹ ਵੀ iron ਤੇ nickel ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਤਰਲ ਲੇਅਰ ਹੈ. ਇਸ ਲੇਅਰ ਦਾ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵੀ inner core ਵਾਂਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ.

3. The mantle – ਇਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਬ ਤੋਂ ਚੌੜਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ. ਇਸ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਲਗਭਗ 2,900 km ਹੈ. Mantle ਲੇਅਰ ‘semi-molten rock‘ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂ ‘magma‘ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ. Mantle ਲੇਅਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰਲੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹਾਰਡ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਨਿਚਲੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹੇ ਭਾਗ ਪਿਘਲਨਾ ਸੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ.

4. The crust – ਇਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਪਰਤ ਹੈ . Crust ‘solid rock‘ ਲੇਅਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਸੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ. ਇਸ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਲਗਭਗ 0-100 km ਤਕ ਹੈ.
